It's a common trick among sample creators to stick a limiter on a drum loop and crank up the gain.

They do it because it makes the drums louder, fuller and sound more impressive.

Thats nice, but when it comes to the mix down, or making engineering decisions with your drums, YOU ARE THE ONE THAT GETS LIMITED! (see what I did there?).

Note: we still used limiters, so don't expect to see no clipped transients, but we didn't overuse them. Your productions won't suffer as a result.

What format does the pack come in?

For Sample Packs: Samples are provided in high-quality 24-bit WAV format, compatible with all major DAWs and samplers. Additionally, in some products MIDI files are included where applicable, giving you even more flexibility.

For Preset Packs: Presets are provided in a file format that corresponds to the synth plugin they are for. For example Serum Presets will be .fxp files. Presets are made using the latest version of the plugin that was available at the time - so ensure that your plugin is up to date.

What will I receive?

We compress our packs into ZIP files.

The download for this product will be a single .ZIP file containing all the files mentioned on this product page.
